The singing midget has spoken! Pop star Prince has shunned the internet like a high school girl that got labeled “skank” for making out with a few jocks at a party.
In a recent interview with The Daily Mirror, Prince says he is doing something revolutionary by only releasing his next album as a CD and won’t ever release it on the internet. As Prince explains:
"The internet's completely over. I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won't pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can't get it. The internet's like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can't be good for you."
Let’s go back to the life without internet. A time where artists can get away with just having 1 good song on their CD and we have to pay $14.99 for the rest of the crap, where one cannot anonymously download porn and have to show their face at the cashier to buy it, where underage boys have to slip a Playboy magazine inside a newspaper to see naked ladies, where wieners cannot randomly curse people over the internet and where annoying bloggers cannot spam on other’s blogs saying 1 liners such as “great post follow me!!”, and you will all receive my blog posts typed up and delivered by my army of carrier pigeons. What a revolutionary idea this is!
