Aqua Di Lara Swimwear 2010 at Mansion Night Club

It is still very much summer here in Ottawa. Most of us are still driving around with our sun roof open and tanning by the lake. So it was perfect when Mansion Night Club hosted the 2010 Aqua Di Lara Swimwear collection this weekend with models from Angie's Models & Talent.

Designed by Reyhan Sofraci in Montreal, Aqua Di Lara is a high end swimwear with a goal to enhance the female body form. Each piece is made to look sexy in and out of the water- Whether it’s for swimming at the lakes or attending a pool party in stilettos. The pieces range from $150 - $350, which is a bit pricey for swimwear, but they are made of high end fabrics with a lot of attention to detail and care.

Currently Aqua Di Lara is sold at a couple of places online such as SwimWear World and other high end boutiques in North America, Europe and Middle East.

I was a great night overall. I also had a chance to meet up with the beautiful designer Amber Watkins. Amber’s new swimwear line “Le Midi” will be debuting this coming weekend at Lobby Nightclub. So go check it out if you live here. Meanwhile, enjoy these backstage & misc photos from the night!

  7. for something that is 150-350....those bathing suits should make me look like i have big boobs, with a washboard abs, long legs & skinny waist!

  8. Hmmm, blogging might be ruining me. I've never been a stereotypical guy, but swim suits are supposed to capture ANY guy's attention. Like the girl yesterday, these ladies are okay, but I find myself much more intrigued by the five girls in the bottom row of pictures. I better go out with the guys soon and act like an ape before I forget how! {I think it's too late} =)

  9. :)) Yes and they use those dollar bills as napkins too. I can't imagine them hiking, except climbing some stairs in the mall when the escalator breaks down. Of course, bitching about it all the way up

  16. ooof can never in my wildest dreams spend that much on swimwear. lol unless it has magical properties to give me a Bar beach bod forever after putting it on.

  28. That's really neat that you got to attend this fashion show event :)
There are some unique pieces in the collection but I seriously would not pay $150+ for a bikini. That's just me....plus I really like Victoria's Secret swimwear online - they have a lot of sexy swim pieces that are affordable. Plus, I know the quality of the fabric must be good for Aqua Di Lara, but you know, I don't NEED the swimsuit to last me more than a summer or two LOL.
