Rich Cronin from 90's boyband LFO Passed Away

The 90’s music got the sads on Wednesday as Rich Cronin passed away in the hospital after suffering a stroke. Rich was in LFO (short for “Lyte Funky Ones”), one of the boyfriends in the 90’s, also known to have dated Jennifer Love Hewitt. Rich was only 35 when he passed away. Tragic.

According to TMZ, Rich battled with Leukemia which might be related to the stroke. However, a Facebook poll of 800 people are split between whether it’s actually because Rich ate too much shooby-doo-wop and scobby snacks or it’s the Chinese food that finally killed him. I just made the Facebook poll up. But I'm sure that there was an underlining truth when he said “Chinese food makes me sick” in his song "Summer Girls". I know I always get sick when I eat at Panda Express.

Since Rich likes girls that wear Abercrombie & Fitch so I got my A&F hoodie on for him today. RIP Rich…

  1. I am sad to hear that he passed away, I was an LFO fan briefly in my youth. I am not sure if it's appropriate to make death jokes so soon after his passing...

  13. I was never an LFO fan, but I was still shocked to hear the news of his passing. I hate it when young folks die :( Makes me think of my own mortality instead of trash TV...*sigh*.

  16. Hey :-)

I was never a fan of LFO and only remember the group brieftly. They seems pretty cool. I wonder what happened to BBMak? Hmm. Anyway, on another note, we must've been separated at birth cause I LOVE Abercrombie & Fitch, along with Hollister too! This loveaffair first came when I was trying on a pair of Hollister jeans (in the store) and noticed the stares of meangirls with flatBUTTS holding and pulling along their "chestcat grinning" boyfriends....win win MUCH? Yup! Haha.
