Ottawa Fashion Week Day 3

The 3rd Day of Ottawa Fashion Week was as good as the first two days. If you missed the previous posts here is the first day and the second day. Special thanks to Christine and Julianne for giving me the privilege to attend fashion week and one of the best seats in the house!

Sugarbum Designs
The vision of Sugarbum Designs is to create attires for people with an adventurous spirit. The collection consists of various colors and lace. The outfit along with the models’ hairstyle portrays someone who is happy and carefree. I also found myself more fascinated with the pom-poms bouncing off the boots when the models walk than the clothing itself for the first little while.

Soltys & Snajdr
Soltys & Snajdr emphasize the neckline. Each piece is classy and glamorous- Hollywood red carpet style. Unlike other designers, Soltys & Snajdr used models with curves that resemble closer to a typical woman’s body instead of a high fashion model, which was refreshing.

Adrian Wu
Adrian Wu is only 20 years old and already his collection exceed others that have been in the industry for years. Every one of Adrian’s piece is dramatic yet feminine and soft. Adrian loves to accentuate women’s curves around the waist and the hips. Adrian’s collection had everyone talking that night.

Birds of North America
Pockets, pockets, pockets. This line is all about the pockets! The dresses may be "just" cotton but they are fitting around the waist and very well tailored. The colors and patterns make the dresses so bright and fun. Think of what Serena Van Dar Woodsen would wear while vacationing somewhere on a tropical beach and you have the Birds of North America collection.

Kania Couture
What I love about Kania’s collection is that she is not afraid to use bold colors. The outfits are form-fitting and sexy with various cut and drape patterns. This is something that is chic for the club yet comfortable enough to let you dance the entire night.

Jessica Biffi
Jessica Biffi is most known for being on Project Runway. Her collection consists of fun colors with a touch of glam. Sequins and ruffles were seen throughout the models. The long black dress that Betsy was wearing along with the styling of her hair blew my mind.

Shout out goes to Angie, Helena and Angie’s Models & Talent, Julie Beun of Ottawa Citizen, and Tina Picard, who is one of the best and sweetest fashion photographers in Ottawa. Congrats to all the models, Julia, Bianca, Betsy, Sam as well as others for a great job. I also had a chance to chat with Adrian Wu backstage, he is so nice that when I was done I was giggling like a little school girl. Special thanks to Shaun from badpr for making it happen.
