The White Dress Boutique Showcases At The Ottawa Bridal Show

If you ever wonder what to wear on a first date then this is your answer. And if you ever decide to do it, make sure to capture every precious moment on camera of the dude’s expression when you open up the door with “oh, hello, I was just doing the dishes” and release it on YouTube ASAP. Instead of going for coffee or dinner, offer to shop for a veil. Instead of telling him that you had a good time, tell him that you are 100% fertile. And I can go on and on…

On Saturday at the Ottawa Bridal Show, thanks to Justyna from Chichichic, Jasmine from The White Dress Bridal Store poped my wedding dress cherry by having me model a Vera Wang wedding dress. Vera Wang! I’m not a wedding fanatic and always joke that I’m going to get eloped in Vegas by an Elvis priest. But as soon as I saw myself with the dress I teared a little- Just a tiny little! Jasmine definitely has a great eye for wedding dresses. I didn’t want to take it off at the end of the day.

The White Dress is located on 191 Preston Street in Ottawa. It is new and the only store in Ottawa that specialize in carrying North American Bridal Couture brands such as Vera Wang, Badgley Mischka, Monique Lhuillier, and Romona Kevesa.

The price range for the dresses are around $2500 - $5000 with most dresses around $4000. The Vera Wang dress I had on is $5000- It is not a bad deal for a couture wedding dress (well, I always thought Vera would cost at least $15,000).

For those that recently got engaged, compliments of The White Dress, Photolux Studio is having an open house where you can enjoy some music, cocktails, Hors d’oeuvres and mingle with the team.

When: Saturday, January 22nd, 6pm-10pm
Where: 197 Preston Street
