Disney On Ice: Mickey & Minnie's Magical Journey

Last week I took Anthony to see Disney On Ice. Okay, so I wanted to see it. And I'm totally that person who buys random gift and then use the "oh, you don't use this? Maybe we can try it" line though I know they don't and will never use it. "Maybe we can try it" = "I want to use it". But you have to be a real grinch if Mickey Mouse doesn't make you slightly happy somehow.

The Disney on Ice this year was Mickey & Minnie's Magical Journey. It was Mickey and Minnie's journey into the story of The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch and Peter Pan. The show performed 3-4 songs from each of the movies and was about 2 hours long with an intermission. It's a really cute event to take your cousins and nephews, or if you're a big kid like me.

By the way, seeing Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are still injured from playing on Pittsburgh Penguins, I wouldn't doubt that the two are making some cash on the side by putting on the Simba and Nala costume and skating to "Can You Feel The Love Tonight". Crosby definitely plays Nala.

  15. You two look soooo happy. It's always nice to see such displays. I agree with you about Mickey and Minnie--someone would have to be a real grinch. Some of my favorite song lyrics are from Disney cartoons/ovies.
