Ottawa Food And Wine 2011

A few Saturdays ago Ottawa foodies and I braved the cold to attend the Ottawa Food and Wine Show. "Let ye drink and be merry!" says I, “...and be married already!” says my grandma.

Yeah, that didn’t happen over the weekend, nor will it any time soon. But it’s the closest you will get to “Come Dine With Pop Champagne” until I finish giving my house a facelift... So until then hope you enjoy these pictures.

Some of my favorites: Bethenny Frankel's Skinny Girl sangria, Pelican's smoke salmon, and Reif Estate's The Magician wine

Angie and I had after a few glasses...

Rochef gourmet chocolate... it was rich and delicious.

  8. I can't help it. I read your post and suddenly I had this sudden craving for chocolates so I ate a whole box of ferrero rocher. So, yeah, it's your fault. Wrong, this yummy post' fault. *munchy munchy munchy* Ok ok, my stomach' fault.

  21. LOL, grandma's can have such one-track minds sometimes. Nashe's grandma recently told her she needed to learn how to please a man (cook) if she wants to hold onto one. Why can't the man can't cook??? I can't (except for a few things), but I'm sure other guys can!

I got off-track...what I want to say is that the idea of dinner with PC sounds like a lot of fun.
