Summer's Gone But The Maxi Is Still Here

Here is a trick to convert those summer maxis to something fresh for fall- roll it up, pin it, and you have yourself a cool looking bunched up skirt. Let’s show a little leg while the weather is still relatively warm and we don’t freeze doing so, shall we?

The booties are from Naughty Monkey and have excellent cushioning that makes it easy to walk on or dance in. Speaking of dancing, these will match with anything from skirts to jeans when you do your bar hop thing. Since I can’t help you with your walk of shame on Sunday morning, I at least prepared you nice footwear for it. Yea yea yea, I'm so considerate!

These Naughty Monkey booties can be purchased from Zappos.com or heels.com. As well like their facebook page to get their latest news.

  18. I really like how you incorporated a maxi dress for the fall and upcoming winter! I definitely agree with you that maxi dresses aren't just meant for the spring and summer. Now I just need to find an awesome faux leather jacket to pair with my maxi dress and some booties.

I have yet to find the perfect pair of booties. The search continues!

  25. What a cool idea. I don't really like maxi dresses/skirt personally because I am clumsy and tend to trip on them but the idea of pinning it up so it bunches nicely is an awesome idea to overcome that. I know I say this to you all the time but I think you are so creative ;) I also love the little antique latern you are holding as prop, hehehe.
