Sweater Kindle

{pictures by Justyna; Versace sweater, coach clutch, Guess shoes}

The other day I came across my vintage Versace sweater buried deep in my closet I forgot about. It was as though the roof opened with a beam of light and angels sang hallelujah around my closet. I looked more happy than my kindergarten picture, which doesn't happen often- I mean, smile and you get a lollipop? If only I get that treatment now.

  33. Vintage Versace hiding in the back of your closet is so much better than lining up outside an H&M in freezing weather to buy mass-produced Versace that everyone else will have.

  65. I had lunch with an old friend today--he wanted to talk about his current girl trouble. After listening to him, I told him it sounded like he was dating a Fire Island girl (which are great for some guys), but really wanted to be with a Desert Island girl. He laughed and, after I explained what that meant, he agreed. I made up the two off the top of my head, but later realized you're both. =)

  73. PS - A Fire Island girl is one who is so pretty, she makes a gay man wish he was bi (but he's not, so that's that). A Desert Island Girl is very smart--she can help you survive. She's also interesting, thoughtful, and fun to spend time with--which is important since she's the only company you'll have.

    The friend I had lunch with clearly inspires me to have weird thoughts. =)
