Journey through Vietnam

{Pictures via Free People}

Journey through Vietnam from Free People's latest campaign. I remember going to Vietnam when I was 16 and everywhere I looked was picture perfect. Just being there is meditation and by the end of the week I didn't care about the Friends and Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes I missed.

Look, there was no YouTube or cable box back then. All we had were new TV episodes to look forward to and wallpaper our room with the latest YM issue. I still have those "Got Milk?" ads in my parents' house somewhere...

  7. Hahaha Buffy the Vampire Slayer...one of the best tv shows ever! (you can tell I am a fan)...Vietnam is so beautiful I´ve seen quite a lot of documentaries that take place there and the culture and the whole journey seems so life changing...to go, a place, truly it is (whoa I think I just went yoda-esque in that line haha)

  12. those were the days - I love the days when there were no cell phones (althought, I dont know how we ever mananged w/o them) and I loved the internet free world - when I visit my home in Dominican Republic, it takes me back there - they are not as advanced as we are here in the US - but they are trying...ugh...lol

  19. Ahh, this makes me want to travel...I've never been to Asia!
    And to answer your question, I took the pics in TO 2 weeks ago. It gave me false hope that we were gonna have an early spring. Then I came back to Ottawa for a reality check.

  28. I would love to visit there someday--the history, the architecture, and the natural beauty all add up to a very interesting destination. If you missed any Buffy episodes, I can loan you the DVDs...but only up to the season BEFORE she started sleeping with Spike. That was enough to make me lose interest. =)

  37. What a gorgeous ad campagne! I've only been to Vietnam once in 2004 and loved every bit of it. Myspace was all the rage back then but I didn't miss it for the entire month I was there. Such gorgeous sights to see, AMAZING FRUITS & delicious food... ughhhh I want to go back but man, that flight is so exhausting & they're so expensive now <3 hautepinkpretty.com
