The Mexican Blanket

{Photos via Spanish Moss, Cheyenne Meets Chanel, Planet Blue, Pinterest}

My parents have one of these Mexican print rugs that I ate off, slept on, let Turbo burrow, and wrapped my sister in then tied, carried and shoved her into our closet (and they say older brothers are mean?). I never thought they would make such pretty and fun attire. If only I could've forsee the future I'd take better care of the rug... Naw, the sister moment was totally worth destroying the rug over- What, I was stupid and 16!

  7. I'm sure she had it coming! I shared the story about making a neighbor kid eat a wild mushroom...and I don't feel guilty about it at all. Well, maybe a little, but the kid defnitely had it coming. =)

    I guess if that women in Gone with the Wind could turn curtains into an outfit, there's no reason why a rug or blanket couldn't get that same treatment.

  10. Tying up your sister seems like a reasonable cause for destroying a blanket! I used to tie up the blanket to make a hammock for my dog until the blanket broke...XD
