Breakwater

{Photos by dad and me; wearing Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Abercrombie & Fitch scarf, Givenchy boots, Club Monaco shirt}

It's been -25C for a few days now so not feeling very motivated or creative. I'll leave you with this story:

There was a woman picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her and as she lay dying, she asked the snake "Why have you done this to me?" and the snake answered "Look, you knew I was a snake."

Follow your instincts; lately my instincts have not failed me. Have a great weekend!

  1. I heard a similar story about a snake and a farmer.. But I don't know if my memory is quite correct in thinking that the fable that I am thinking of has the same message as yours.. But anyways :) Great post! The first picture is really beast - It just.. invokes this sense of "wow" from me :D Good job yet again! xx

  20. It sure feels there's more to that story, it's definitely not just a plain parable... Hope not too many snakes bit you these last few days.

  22. Great story, never trust a snake--or listen when it blames you for its bad behavior. Greta hat--and great pants! Have a wonderful weekend.

    PS - The Capitals have a new coach and a new system. The team has learned the system so well they're 0-3 for the first time since 1993. :(

  26. OMGosh I love every aspect of this post.

    WHY IS YOUR JACKET NOT ZIPPED UP IN -25 DEGREE WEATHER??? LOL

    Toronto was kind to us today, quite mild as I was walking to my MMA School this morning, but substantially chillier when I locked up at night.
