{Photos by Alfred; wearing Jacob moto jacket, Sheinside top}
Went for tea time with my good friend Alfred at the Fairmont Empress. We had a great time, definitely a good way to kill a few hours on a weekend afternoon! The Fairmont blend tea was good but I was impressed with their whipping cream, it was one of the best I've tasted.
I love tea! Looks divine, cozy, warm and a great place to chill and just have a good conversation! There is something about china cups that I JUST love...
You look so chic in these photos. I've never been too fond of tea. I prefer iced and sweetened tea. I went on a phase of drinking hot tea and it only lasted me like a month or so.. It just tasted weird to me, like flavored water that tasted bad. Hahaha. I'm picky with my water too. Oftentimes, I don't drink tap or purified. It has to be those bottled ones and I choose brands too, coz others have an aftertaste. Hahaha TMI! Didn't have to post that here.. LOL
The whip cream sounds delicious but the scenery is absolutely royal. I love the sweets tray and tea cups. And you're looking very nice, love the necklace.
I've never been to an afternoon tea. That place looks pretty snazzy. For some reason, of all the things on the serving dish, I most want a biscuit.
I'm not much of a tea drinker. Generally, I only drink hot tea if I'm sick. But somehow I keep getting it as gifts. I think I have a 30 year supply (which for a real tea drinker might not last 30 days).
The necklace is to die for ;) another amazing outfit, well done! i've only been to the Fairmont at Whistler and boy, my family and I do love their $10 Prime Rib deals hehe :D
Looking gorgeous as always. :) The tea and cakes look delicious, so does the whipping cream. I almost thought the whipping cream was meringue. Hehe... Glad to read that you and your friend had a great time. This tea place looks like a nice and relaxing place to hang out at. :)
Thanks for the comment about my shower shelf nail polish rack. Now that you mentioned it reminds you of what spas have, it quite reminds me of the display at the new nail place that opened in my area. :D
I have always wanted to go out for high tea. Looks so fun!
