{Photos by Pom; wearing Sheinside tribal cardigan, Alexander Wang booties, DIY ombre shorts}
... And here's the difference in scenery between the west coast and Ottawa. No mountains, no forests, no ocean, just a crap load of snow and ice. Cardigan from Sheinside, still a big fan of tribal print, and I like how it adds a bit of color to all the boring white.
I got the winter blues and lately have been thinking of moving for a change. I'm running out of Canadian cities to live in though. I would like to try out Calgary, or Toronto, I don't know. Ugh, I now know why they say the end of January is the most depressing time of the year.

Those boots are cool on you...
ReplyDeleteI have no problems with January at all! :3
ReplyDeleteLove the tights, pretty cool! :D
I love that cardigan! You wear everything awesomely. I love the end of Jan--but there is something about being cooped up inside all through winter that bothers me. I miss being in the mountains of VA and out camping with my friends!
ReplyDeleteWhen I get down, I go out to a coffee shop and just sit and talk to people. Its always interesting the sorts you meet in a coffee shop! I also try to pray more too--God is a big comfort to me in times of trials!
Good luck :)
Love your cardi c:
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Canada
before! I have heard that
the mountains and the forest
are really pretty!
xx
I need a good spot of cobalt blue to brighten my winter blues;)
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried wearing stockings like that. Looks cool paired with your boots! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the cardigan!
ReplyDeleteJust did a post with the same title yesterday! Feeling the same.

ReplyDeleteScenery different? With you in the foreground, who would notice the background??? :)
ReplyDeleteOttawa seems like a great town and you have wonderful friends there. Of course, they'd still be your friends if you moved. Maybe wait to see how you feel in the summer. What would you do with the people in the basement?
I like the pic where you smile :) Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI so love your cardigan!

The Lovely Memoir
Love the tights! and those are really high heels! Moving to another place is also a good thing knowing you have to start again. It's challenging tho, you also get to meet new people and explore new places :)
ReplyDeleteCute outfit. I especially love the tights. Very Victorian. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's great to be visiting your blog again. :)
As for a different Canadian city to move to, I heard from my relatives that Calgary is nice. :)
Aw, sorry to hear that you're missing the nature aspect of things! I really am dying for some immersion in nature. Besides that, I love the outfit, haven't worn tights in ages...itd be my turn one day, going from place to place is something I hope to do...
ReplyDeleteYou are one brave lady for wearing short & nylons at this time of year! But, I guess to look this fabulous one must suffer just a bit, right?!
