Slow Cooker Ribs

{Photo by me}

Most days I'm too pooched from work to make food when I get home. I often rely on my slow cooker when I know I will have a busy day. One of the first things I learned to make with the slow cooker is ribs. I love ribs. And this way taste just as good as if they were on the grill.

Slow Cooker Ribs
- Season the rack of ribs and put it in the oven at 375 C for 15 minutes to crip the outside.
- Put the ribs into the slow cooker on low for 6 hours.
- Optional: Season the ribs the day in advance and put it in a plastic bag for deeper flavour.

The reaction I got for the ribs was the following:

Zach: "This is good. I think I'm getting hooked on your cooking."
Me: "Good. I'm going to fatten you up so you won't leave me then I will dump you when you get too fat. HAHAHA"
Zach: "... You're so weird."

  1. HAHA I love ribs too <3 You're not weird. I always crack jokes like that, and I get these, "... how funny." comments. It's cool. I'm just awkward like that!

  2. That looks delicious. :)! haha cute conversation between you and Zach

  3. That looks so gooooodd! I'm a terrible cook so this slow cooker business piques my curiosity...

  4. Hahah! I need to try making ribs at home, I could finish a whole rack by myself but I'm sure my boyfriend would love to help! Mine would totally understand, he's a skinny fella and gets poked about putting on weight by my family sometimes!

  5. We had ribs the other night too, but I'm sure it wasn't as delicious as yours. And the conversation... HILARIOUS.
