Spring Is Here

... Sort of. The weather dropped back down to -10 last night again. Freaking Ottawa.

Elle and I booked our Mexico trip last night. I can't wait. I'm one of those that always say "I love to travel, but right now I can't". But then I realized, you have to make time for traveling, else you will never do it. I have never regret my travels, nor have I met anyone who has. But I have met quite a few who regret not traveling more when they didn't have a family. We only live once, after all.

This thin and breezy sweater from Sheinside is currently my go-to piece for the high temperature change earlier in the week. Hat borrowed from Zach. Bonus points if you recognize the logo.

  12. Yes yes YES to both the outfit AND travelling. You definitely must put effort into travelling and making it a priority when that's what you want to do. I also hear that a lot from friends and family - that they wish they'd travelled more when they had fewer responsibilities like children, families, mortgage, etc.

  13. Very nice sweater! And I'm glad you booked the trip to Mexico. I love traveling too but I say the same thing. You just have to make the plans and go for it! I just booked a trip to Jamaica.

  20. Smart girl! I started the family thing too young to travel beforehand, hopefully there will be time for international travel later. But we have taken the kids some places, mostly up and down the east coast.

    PS - I needed my winter coat yesterday and today.

  25. I will just take a wild guess and say "Zelda" LOL, okay I think I am way wrong but oh your pants! So bright but you looking good >D Thank goodness you did not faint from the detox buahaha. -10. That's just crazy. How could you wear like that in a -10 environment. Urgh. I will not leave my bed and blanket. They should come up with a new fashion: wear your blanket out ;_;
