Snow Globe

{Photos by Myriam; wearing Roots cabin sweater & socks, Cougar Boots, Aritzia shirt, Lucky jeans}

During my first Ottawa snow storm, since I wasn't used to so much snow being from the west coast and I had a little too much to drink that night, my friend and I were walking outside and I trilled in circles and told him that I felt like I was inside a giant snow globe. He replied with, "Yeah, if the snow globe consist road salt and politician piss". What a party damper eh.

What a difference in weather between the east of Canada and the west coast! And also, happy Lunar New Year everyone!

  3. I know what you mean!. When I moved up north from Georgia, I was all excited when I experienced my first snowy winter. But now, 6 years later, I just want the snow and the single digit weather to go away.

  18. I felt the same "snow globe" effect when I lived in Halifax during the winter 3 years ago. It's so dizzying and beautiful to see such large flakes of snow shimmy down prettily.
    Happy Lunar New Year to you and yours! :)
