Morning with Triumph

{Photos by Victoria and me, wearing Triumph Fall 2015 collection}

I've been traveling so much that it's kind of a luxury to do nothing all weekend and lounge around in my own bed not wearing pants and a proper shirt. Yesterday my sister came into my room, lay on my bed and said "your bed is so comfy!" and I had to kick her out because I was going to bed lol.

While I am money conscious, there are certain things I always splurge. They include:
- Salad dressing
- Bread
- Mattress
- Bed sheets
- Underwear

Salad dressing because they last forever. While I like eating vegetables, I love red meat and sweets way more. Buying the cheap salad dressings made me dread eating garden salads more when I don't have the time to make a "nicer" salad. And I find that gourmet dressing taste way better and make the salad way more enjoyable. That goes the same with fresh bread.

As for mattress, bedsheets and underwear... You spend 6-8 hours per day in your bed, and nice bedsheets with a comfortable mattress feel like a million bucks to get into every night. This goes the same for underwear- you have to wear them everyday (well, unless you feel like randomly flashing someone). Wearing nice underwear does make a huge difference, which is something I did not experience until Triumph offered to let me try their stuff. No more wedgeys, no more "adjusting" bras throughout the day when I move, no more worrying about panty liners with their Body Make-Up bottoms... Not to mention, I do feel better wearing nice and fitted underwear.

Triumph Lingerie recently released their fall collection. It features the Amourette collection as well as the Bridal, the Magic Wire, and new Shapewears. The Amourette lace bras are featured in my photos above. They are my favorite in the collection because they are extremely comfortable and with the pretty lace, they go great with low cut shirts. The Amourette lace collection comes in black, nude and white colors. I find them subtle and elegant, a great addition to my wardrobe.

This fall 2015, Triumph will be available at the Ottawa Nordstrom for purchase. Visit Triumph's collection at www.triumphwebstore.com. Their instagram account is @triumph_ca and facebook link is here.

  4. Haha, I never thought to splurge on salad dressing, but it totally makes sense to.
    I'm saving up for a new mattress. I've realized that grabbing the cheap foam ones from IKEA aren't doing anything for my back, and I ain't getting any younger!
    Your photos are lovely, as always. :)

  8. I think we all have a few things that we're willing to splurge on. I agree with you on bread - it is one of mine too. That lingerie sounds great. I hate when I have to adjust straps and these sound comfortable.

  10. Very logical about the salad dressing and very true about the sheets. I remember the first time I enjoyed the luxury of a top sheet (as a tiny kid I had a bottom sheet and a blanket), it was heaven!!! And just to be clear, I'm not complaining at all. At least I had a bed (sure, it folded up and rolled away, but...), lots of people don't have that. So not complaining, just sharing!
