About

Pop Champagne started back in 2009 when I first moved to Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. It was a medium for me to meet some people in the city and eventually turned into what it is today!

出生在台灣, 笑臉迎人的加拿大女孩, 假日和周末是夜貓族的黃金時段, 睡覺睡到自然醒是最大的享受, 壽司是永遠的最愛, 典雅壁燈是溫暖的擁抱.

Instead of rambling about how I love beef tacos and what an awesome foosball player I am... Here is a list of questions (with my answers) that I commonly get asked:

Q: What is your nationality?
A: Taiwanese. I was born in Taipei and came to Canada when I was 12.

Q: How tall are you?
A: I get this question a lot and I don't know why! I'm 5"6' - tall enough to reach the tallest cabinets in my kitchen! Still need to work on opening those jars of pasta and salsa though.

Q: How do you find time to blog?
A: I love blogging. And when you love something, you can always find time. Like, remember the douche where you would wait for his call then cancel plans with your friends?

Q: What type of camera do you use?
A: I actually use the most basic model of Canon (Rebel XS). A camera is just a tool. It's more important to have a good operator and lighting.

Q: Who takes your photos?
A: I take 99% of the photos without me. As for ones of me, it's from everyone I'm close with. Sometimes I do self timer but it's much faster when you have someone taking them. I do set the settings on the camera before giving it to them though.

Q: How do you describe your style?
A: Uhm... I don't know? I can tell you how I like to dress: I like to be comfortable. I like girlie dresses and pastel colors. I love blazers and a tad bit of grunge. Studs and loud prints are awesome on any shirts or bottoms. Colors are great but I don't like to color-block, I look too much like a Lego castle. I love to splurge on purses. When I'm moody I wear grey and beige. I can never have enough white tank or blouses.... Style is such a personal thing, and I really can't sum what I just wrote in a few words.

Q: Where do you get your DIY supplies?
A: I thrift shop a lot. When I see interesting jewelries such as a cool chain or pendant I buy it and put it in "safe keeping" until I know what to do with it. I also buy supplies online, Michaels, Walmart... It's a lot of searching and collecting overtime.

Q: Your template and buttons are nice, where did you get it?
A: I customized a generic blogger template. It's frustrating and takes a long time but rewarding once it's complete. I also drew the buttons myself because I wanted it all to be reflective of me.

Q: Can I borrow your pictures?
Yes! You don't have to ask- as long as you link back!
